Gonzalo Vivanco is a versatile Latin American actor who has performed in TV, theatre and film. Born in Chile under a dictatorship, Gonzalo and his family lived in Argentina, Ecuador and Venezuela. He returned to Santiago, Chile, in 1983 and 5 years later won a scholarship to learn English as a foreign exchange student in Nebraska. It was during these two years in the United States that he fell in love with the performing arts. He returned to Chile and enrolled in the University's Engineering program, but mid-career decided to pursue his dream of acting. Gonzalo trained as an actor in Czech Republic with the legendary Jerzy Grotowsky. Upon completion of this program he returned to Chile and trained under the National TV Network talent academy with Susana Fishkind. He also trained as an actor with Eugene Barba and The legendary Marcel Marceu. His training extends to singing and theatre as well. In 1999 Gonzalo moved to Miami, Florida, and was immediately spotted by producers from prominent TV networks, such as Discovery Network, Telemundo and Univision Television Network. Since then, he has performed alongside distinguished Latin American actors. Was On Telemundo Network where he meets the Oscar nominated Actres Adriana Barrraza and trained with her as well. His TV credits include highly rated soap operas like "Las Dos Caras de Ana", "SoƱar No Cuesta Nada", "Acorralada", "Prisionera", "La Revancha", "Gata salvaje" and "Secreto de Amor". He's also been a guest star in drama series such as "Al Filo de la Ley" ,"Decisiones". On 2008 he stars on "asi es la vida" and "el ultimo matrimonio feliz" of RCN TV ando telefutura network . Also the movies "Venezzia" and "viviendo a dos tiempos".
